DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Kawasaki Z H2 SE is built for riders who cover real distances on a naked bike, and that includes wet days and cold mornings. Accossato's AGPP88 rear pad in the Sintered compound is catalogued for the Z H2 SE with the years 2020 to 2026. It suits owners who tour with a passenger or luggage and ride through the seasons, and who want a rear brake that responds identically in the rain and on a warm, dry road.
Key Features
- AGPP88 rear pads for the Kawasaki Z H2 SE, catalogue years 2020 to 2026
- Sintered compound, article AGPP88ST
- High, even grip at any temperature, says Accossato
- Secure response on wet roads
- Steady feel two-up and with bags
- One pad for the whole year
- Alternative on this plate: OR
- No German approval held; for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes this compound as one that keeps a high grip level without drifting as temperatures change, and that grips well in the wet. For the rear of a touring-capable naked bike, that removes a variable when the weather shifts during a ride. The company also claims slow wear, fade limited by moderate heat and strong stopping. The Sintered layer is carried on the AGPP88 plate.
Two-Up on Wet Roads
With a passenger and a tank bag, a Z H2 SE carries noticeably more weight, and on a wet road a rider tends to use the rear brake more deliberately to settle the bike before a bend. That only works if the rear pad responds the same on the first stop of the day as after a long descent. The Sintered set is intended to provide that.
After rain, clean the rear caliper and allow it to dry before the bike is covered. Check the rear pads before a tour, and if the pedal feels soft, have the system bled before setting off.
Fitment and Compatibility
The catalogue entry for AGPP88 names the rear of the Z 1000 H2 SE with years 2020 to 2026, which our garage lists as the Kawasaki Z H2 SE. AGPA106 is the front pad from 2021. No disc is catalogued. The single rear caliper takes one box. Compare pad shapes before installing.
Road Approval
We have received no ABE or approval document for AGPP88ST. It is offered for racing use.
Scope of Delivery
