DescriptionThe whole story▼

The SWM RS 300 R is a light Italian enduro that can also be ridden on the road, and many owners use it for exactly that: commuting across town during the week and riding easy tracks at the weekend. Accossato lists front pad AGPA29 for the RS 300 R from 2015 to 2020, and this box contains the Organic mixture. It suits riders who mainly use the SWM on tarmac and at a relaxed pace, and who want a soft lever and a disc that lasts.

Key Features

  • AGPA29 front pad for the SWM RS 300 R, 2015 to 2020
  • Organic mixture, SKU AGPA29OR
  • Accossato: long service life and low disc wear
  • Gentle, progressive lever for road use
  • Quiet when the brake is cold
  • Also produced as ST, STMX and EV1

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato states that its Organic pads maintain their performance over a long service life while limiting disc wear. On an RS 300 R that spends more time on paved roads than on trails, this is a sensible choice: the lever responds smoothly and the front disc wears slowly. The pads also share Accossato's aims of controlled heat build-up to limit fading and a secure stopping effect.

An Enduro for Everyday Roads

A light enduro such as the RS 300 R has a long-travel fork that dives quickly under braking. An Organic pad with a gradual initial bite lets the fork compress smoothly, which feels calmer in city traffic.

It also stays quiet when cold, which is useful for short journeys to work or to the shops. For riders who only occasionally venture onto an easy gravel track, the Organic pad is fine at a gentle pace.

When the Riding Gets Dirtier

If you regularly ride muddy trails or enduro routes, consider the STMX version of this pad, which Accossato designs for off-road use.

Fitment and Compatibility

Six model years of the SWM RS 300 R, 2015 through 2020, appear in Accossato's catalogue with AGPA29 as the front pad. The bike brakes its front wheel with a single caliper, which means one box does the job. Behind, the Accossato fitment is AGPP80. A tip for the swap: wipe the exposed piston faces clean first, then ease them back into their bores, and squeeze the lever a few times once finished.

Road Approval

We have no ABE or German approval document for AGPA29OR, so it is offered for competition use.

Scope of Delivery

Two Organic front pads for one caliper.
