DescriptionThe whole story▼

A Triumph Street Triple 765 S used as a year-round commuter faces a daily ride to work in rain for half the year. Wet roads, cold mornings and standing water on the way home all test the front brake. For that routine Accossato lists its AGPA72 front pad in Sintered (ST) compound, fitting the 765 S from 2017 to 2020. It is meant for riders who need the lever to feel identical whether the disc is dry, wet, warm or cold.

Key Features

  • AGPA72 front pads for the Triumph Street Triple 765 S, 2017 to 2020
  • Sintered (ST) friction mix, article AGPA72ST
  • For the daily commute through wet months
  • Accossato cites unchanging grip in heat and cold
  • Strong wet performance according to the maker
  • Two boxes cover the twin front calipers
  • No German ABE; supplied for competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato says ST keeps a high and constant grip level at both high and low temperatures, and grips well in the wet. On the AGPA72 plate of a 765 S that is ridden to work in all weathers, the practical result is a lever you do not have to relearn when the weather changes. The maker also names long service life and restrained heat among its general aims.

Rain on the Way Home

An evening commute in the rain combines poor visibility, spray from traffic and a wet disc. A sintered pad is designed to keep working consistently in those conditions, so the rider can concentrate on the road. Using both brakes smoothly and early, and leaving extra space to the vehicle ahead, does the rest.

Winter Upkeep

Salted roads are hard on calipers. Rinse the front end with fresh water after salty commutes, and look at the pads regularly for uneven wear, which can signal a sticking piston. When fitting new pads, clean the pistons on both calipers, press them back carefully, and pump the lever until firm. Checking the fluid colour at the same time is a quick habit worth keeping.

Fitment and Compatibility

Street Triple 765 S bikes from 2017 to 2020 are where Accossato places the AGPA72 at the front. Each of the two front calipers needs one box. For the rear the list gives the AGPP91 across the same years, and the DK203 disc also features for this model. OR, EV1 and EV2 are alternatives on the front plate.

Road Approval

No German ABE and no test papers are available to us for this compound, so we list it for track and competition use.

Scope of Delivery
