DescriptionThe whole story▼

Supersport 600 grids see more fork fiddling per race weekend than almost any other class, qualifying set-ups softened for a wet warm-up, then stiffened again once the track dries, and every one of those changes starts at the adjuster on top of the fork leg. Accossato's AD019 is a pair of those adjusters for the GSX-R 600, a 19 mm hex cap machined from aluminium and anodised in seven colours, listed for the GSX-R 600 of 2006 to 2017.

Key Features

  • Fork preload adjusters for the Suzuki GSX-R 600, 2006 to 2017
  • Sold as a pair, one per fork leg
  • 19 mm hex key size
  • CNC-machined aluminium, anodised
  • Seven colours: blue, black, red, silver, titanium, green, gold
  • Adjusts fork spring preload
  • Mirror covers, steering stem nuts and swingarm bobbins available for the same bike
  • No German ABE on file; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Each AD019 is machined from aluminium on CNC equipment and anodised in one of seven colours, blue, black, red, silver, titanium, green or gold. The hex takes a 19 mm key, the size Accossato quotes for this application, and the pair sets into the standard adjuster location at the top of the fork legs, changing the preload on the fork springs and nothing else.

Changing Conditions Through a Race Weekend

A 600 supersport weekend can open with a dry qualifying session and close with a wet final, and teams that take it seriously adjust preload between sessions rather than leaving one setting for the whole day. With the AD019 fitted, that adjustment takes only a hex key of the right size, no fork disassembly, so it can happen between a session ending and the next one starting. The figures to turn to, front and rear balance included, come from the GSX-R 600's own set-up notes or the team's own data, not from a general rule carried over from another bike.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists the AD019 for the Suzuki GSX-R 600 from 2006 to 2017, fitting the standard preload adjuster location on each fork leg. The same 19 mm adjuster is also catalogued for the Honda CBR 1000 RR and the Suzuki GSX-R 750. For the GSX-R 600 itself, Accossato also offers the MC006 mirror covers, the SA001 and SC001 steering stem nuts and the ST002 and ST008 swingarm bobbins.

Road Approval

We have no German ABE or other approval document for the AD019, so it is sold for racing and competition use.
