DescriptionThe whole story▼
The CRF450X, Honda's enduro-focused 450 built between 2008 and 2015 with different suspension and gearing from the motocross CRF450R, takes its own two-hose Accossato kit rather than sharing a part with any of the CRF450R generations. The X designation marks this as a distinct model line from the newer RX cross-country variant, even though both sit somewhere between pure motocross and trail riding, built for similarly demanding terrain over long, varied routes across many different conditions, seasons and riding styles.
Key Features
- Two-hose set covering front and rear on the CRF450X
- Standard (S) layout, matching the original hose routing
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings as standard, or painted stainless in red, green, blue, black or gold
- A distinct model line from the CRF450R and CRF450RX
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses
Construction and Material Quality
Construction matches the rest of the CRF450 family: a stainless mesh over the pressure line, with the fitting available bare or painted in red, green, blue, black or gold. The full twenty-colour sheath range applies, so the X gets the same breadth of finish as its R and RX relatives despite being a separate model line.
An Older Enduro Line, Its Own Part
Honda sold the CRF450X as a long-travel enduro model alongside the motocross-focused CRF450R for years before eventually replacing it with the newer CRF450RX, and the X's own brake hardware never crossed over to either the R or the later RX. That is why this kit stands alone rather than being shared with any other CRF450 variant in the Accossato catalogue, regardless of how closely related the model names might appear to a casual buyer browsing the parts list online or in print somewhere on a quiet afternoon.
Fitment and Compatibility
Spanning the Honda CRF450X's full 2008-2015 production, this two-hose kit is the only part Accossato lists for this particular enduro model, with no separate layout recorded elsewhere. Confirm your exact build year against the Fitment tab before placing an order for this part.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
2 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
