DescriptionThe whole story▼
The 2017-2018 CRF450R, built on the chassis Honda introduced for that generation's motocross range, shares its brake hardware with the smaller CRF250R from the same two years, so this two-hose Accossato kit covers both under one part. It is one of four separate kits Accossato lists for the CRF450R across its different chassis generations, each tied to a specific span of model years that a buyer needs to match carefully against their own machine and its exact production date before placing an order.
Key Features
- Two-hose set covering front and rear on the 2017-2018 CRF450R
- Same part also covers the 2017-2018 CRF250R
- Standard (S) layout, matching the original hose routing
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings as standard, or painted stainless in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses
Construction and Material Quality
The two hoses are built from a stainless mesh over the pressure line, and the fitting on this application can be ordered bare or painted in red, green, blue, black or gold stainless. The full twenty-colour sheath range applies, so a rider running both this and the smaller-engined CRF250R from the same generation gets an identical choice of finish.
Four Generations, Four Separate Kits
Honda has reworked the CRF450R's chassis and brake hardware several times over the years, which is why Accossato lists this part only for the 2017-2018 bike, with three further kits covering 2014-2015, 2019-2022, and the single-hose version spanning 2016 and 2023-2024. Mixing up which generation a part fits will leave a connection point unused or short of a hose, so the exact build year matters more than the model name on its own badge or paperwork.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Honda CRF450R sold in 2017 and 2018, and the same part also covers the CRF250R of those same two years. Accossato lists separate kits for other CRF450R generations (AGF2012, AGF2050, AGA0269); check the Fitment tab carefully to confirm which chassis year your bike uses.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
2 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
