Round, very short, and with a large outlet — Spark's own description of the Moto GP silencer, here in the dark finish and behind a catalysed box that keeps the whole kit approved. It is the least conventional-looking homologated exhaust Spark builds for this bike.
Key Features
- Euro5 approved 3/4 kit for the Triumph Street Triple 765 R, RS and S, 2020 to 2022.
- Moto GP silencer in dark style: round, very short, large outlet diameter.
- 3.2 kg against 6.2 kg standard — 3.0 kg saved.
- Catalysed AISI 304 stainless box, standard low mounting.
- Compatible with the passenger footrests.
- More performance with no ECU modification.
A Short Case on a Naked Bike
Most silencers on a Street Triple end somewhere under the tail. The Moto GP case ends well before that, and the outlet is wide enough to see into. Spark says the large outlet diameter is there to emphasise the three-cylinder note, which is the honest description: this is a shape chosen for how it sounds and how it looks, not for how much it absorbs.
What makes that possible on a road-legal exhaust is the catalysed box in front of it. The regulation work happens upstream, so the silencer can be as short as the design wants. Without that architecture a case this size would not carry a certificate.
Dark Instead of Titanium
Spark offers the Moto GP case in titanium and in what it calls dark style. The titanium reads as raw metal and catches light along its length; the dark finish absorbs it and turns the silencer into a shadow under the tail.
On a Street Triple in a bright colour that contrast is the whole point. On a black or graphite bike the dark case disappears into the profile and the exhaust stops being a visual event — which some riders want and some do not. Both versions are the same silencer underneath.
Approved, and Pillion-Friendly
Spark lists this kit as compatible with the passenger footrests and states the family complies with Euro 4 and Euro 5 regulations. Between them those two facts describe a motorcycle that has not given anything up.
The pre-silencer box is AISI 304 with a very thin wall, made on current tooling, and carries a catalytic converter with racing cell count and a rich noble-metal impregnation. Spark's design goal was more performance with no ECU change, and the catalyst is how that is achieved rather than in spite of it.
Fitment & Compatibility
Triumph Street Triple 765 R, RS and S, 2020 through 2022. With the Grid-O silencer it is GTR0503TOM, or GTR0503BOM with the black ceramic box. The high lateral mounting with the Moto GP is GTR0506DOM in dark style and GTR0506TOM in titanium. Mounts on the standard collector or Spark's GTR8502.
Road Approval
Approved. Spark states compliance with Euro 4 and Euro 5 regulations, with the catalytic converter inside the box.
