DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Öhlins TTX GP TR 469 is a race-derived rear shock absorber engineered specifically for the Triumph Daytona 675, Daytona 675 R (2013–2018) and Daytona Moto2 765 (2020–2021). Built around a pressurised gas damper with a fixed external piggyback reservoir, it delivers the kind of precise, consistent damping that rewards riders who push hard — lap after lap, road or track.
Key Features
- Pressurised gas damper with fixed external piggyback reservoir for stable, fade-free performance across all riding conditions
- Fully adjustable compression and rebound damping to dial in the chassis to your weight, riding style and circuit
- Integrated hydraulic spring preload adjuster for quick, tool-free ride-height and preload changes
- 36 mm piston diameter for exceptional durability and consistent damping force over the long term
- Supplied with installation instructions; German type approval (ABE) included for road-legal fitment in Germany
- Fits all Triumph Daytona 675, 675 R (2013–2018) and Daytona Moto2 765 (2020–2021) models
Precision Damping, Built for the Daytona
Öhlins developed the TTX GP range from the ground up for competitive use, and every detail of the TR 469 reflects that origin. The Twin Tube X technology at its core separates compression and rebound circuits, eliminating the cross-talk that causes a conventional monotube shock to compromise one damping direction for the other. The result is a rear end that stays composed under hard braking, tracks faithfully through mid-corner bumps and drives cleanly off the exit.
The 36 mm piston offers a larger working surface than standard OE units, which translates directly into greater oil flow control, less heat build-up and markedly extended service intervals — an important consideration for riders who cover serious mileage or spend regular days at the circuit.
Adjustability and Setup
The hydraulic spring preload adjuster removes the need for a C-spanner and makes corner-weight or ride-height adjustments genuinely straightforward. Rebound and compression damping are each independently adjustable, giving a Daytona owner or their suspension technician the granularity to build a setup that suits everything from a wet morning commute to a dry track day. Öhlins recommends fitment through an authorised Öhlins Service Centre to ensure the shock is set up correctly from the first ride.
