The straps are what let you set the tension on a Moto 6.5 boot, and once they stretch, tear or go missing the boot no longer closes the way it should. This black kit of original Leatt straps brings the adjustment back without the cost of a new pair of boots.
Leatt packs four pieces per kit, so there is enough to renew the straps on both boots in one go.
Fit
The straps are intended for the Leatt Moto 6.5 boot. Moto 3.5 and ADV boots have their own strap kits, so compare the old strap with the picture if your boot model is not printed on it.
Material
Leatt states a combination of steel with TPU and POM plastics for this strap set, the same mix used on the Moto 6.5 when it leaves the factory.
When to replace
Replace a strap when the teeth are worn smooth, the end is torn or the strap no longer holds its setting under load. Renewing all four at once keeps both boots adjusting evenly.
What you should know
Buckles are not part of this kit and are sold separately for the Moto 6.5. The straps are also made in other colours, and this listing is the black version.
