DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Leatt Moto 2.5 WindBlock Glove is made for the in-between season: cool mornings, cold wind on fast sections and the odd shower, when a mesh glove is too thin but a full winter glove feels like too much. Its core is a HydraDri 4-way stretch shell that Leatt rates at 10,000 mm waterproofness and 10,000 g/m² breathability, combined with a microfleece inner backing.

The black version pairs that technology with a grey digital camo print and a white Leatt logo, a look that sits easily with almost any off-road kit.

Key Features

  • HydraDri 4-way stretch membrane, rated 10,000 mm / 10,000 g/m²
  • Microfleece lining for warmth and comfort
  • Slim MicronGrip palm with grip in wet and dry
  • Pre-curved, snug fit with a seamless palm
  • FormFit finger stitching and multi-row Coats® stretch thread
  • Extended cuff with hook-and-loop closure
  • Touchscreen compatible

Wind and weather

Wind chill is what makes hands go numb on a cold ride, and blocking it is the main job of this glove. The outer shell uses HydraDri, a 4-way stretch membrane material from Leatt with stated ratings of 10,000 mm waterproofness and 10,000 g/m² breathability. Leatt describes the glove itself as water-resistant, with a water-resistant upper, so it handles spray and light rain rather than all-day downpours.

Warmth without bulk

On the inside, a microfleece backing adds warmth and makes the glove pleasant against the skin. It is a light layer rather than heavy insulation, which keeps the glove slim enough for precise control.

Palm and grip

The palm is MicronGrip, which Leatt calls durable and slim, with excellent grip on wet or dry grips. It is pre-curved and seamless, and FormFit stitching on the fingers improves grip and feel.

Fit and closure

Leatt cuts the WindBlock with a snug, pre-curved fit. The extended cuff reaches further over the wrist than a summer glove and closes with an adjustable hook-and-loop strap.

Details

Multi-row Coats® stretch-thread stitching is used for durability, the fingertips are touchscreen compatible, and the packaging is plastic-free.

What you should know

Despite the membrane ratings, Leatt sells the WindBlock as a water-resistant glove, not as a fully waterproof one, so long rides in heavy rain are not its purpose. It has no impact protection and no stated CE certification. For very cold conditions an insulated glove such as the Leatt Moto 2.5 ThermaFlow is the warmer option.

Colour

The black WindBlock combines a black base with a grey digital camo pattern across the back of the hand. A large white Leatt logo crosses the knuckles, small red accents appear near the cuff, and the palm is grey. Black is practical for autumn and winter riding, when mud and grime are part of every ride. This colourway belongs to the current V27 collection.
