DescriptionThe whole story▼
A GSX-R125 that gets ridden every day does not get to choose the weather. Students and apprentices use it in November rain and on frosty January mornings just as much as in summer. AGPA251 in the Sintered (ST) mixture is Accossato's front pad for the Suzuki GSX-R125 from 2017 to 2026, aimed at those year-round riders who want the brake to feel the same on a wet school run as on a dry Sunday.
Key Features
- Front pads for the Suzuki GSX-R125, years 2017 to 2026
- Sintered compound, article AGPA251ST
- High, constant grip in cold and warm conditions, per Accossato
- Grips well in the wet, the maker adds
- For all-season commuting and longer tours
- Rear pad AGPP181 listed for the same bike
- Fits the RL and RLX versions
- No German test documents; sold for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato states that the Sintered compound keeps a high, stable grip at low and high temperatures and works well on wet roads. For a small bike used in all seasons, that means fewer surprises when the weather turns. Accossato also points to modest wear, restrained heat build-up with little fade, and a good level of stopping force.
Rain, Frost and the Long Way Round
On a wet autumn morning, spray from the front wheel coats the disc before you have left the street. A pad that keeps its bite in those conditions lets a GSX-R125 rider brake smoothly at the first junction instead of waiting for the brakes to dry out. The same holds on a weekend trip with a small rucksack or a tail bag, when the bike carries a little more weight into every bend. Remember to check the pad thickness through the caliper after the winter, as road salt and grit are hard on brakes, and rinse the disc and caliper with water rather than a strong cleaner.
Fitment and Compatibility
AGPA251 fits the GSX-R 125 RL and RLX from 2017 to 2026, according to Accossato. There is one front caliper on the GSX-R125, so a single box does the job. At the rear, Accossato lists AGPP181, and DK234 appears among its discs for the model. The front pad is also sold as Organic and EV1 street/track.
Road Approval
AGPA251ST has no ABE or German approval certificate in our files, which is why the pads are listed for racing and competition.
Scope of Delivery
