A stub of titanium where most bikes carry a silencer. The Moto GP case is round, very short and has a large outlet diameter — and on the Evo 2025 CBR 1000 RR-R it is the group that leaves the tail of the motorcycle emptiest.
Key Features
- Moto GP silencer group with cover, Honda CBR 1000 RR-R, 2024 to 2026.
- Round, very short case with a large outlet diameter.
- Supplied as a group — silencer plus cover.
- The loudest option in Spark's Evo 2025 range for this bike.
- Takes a dB killer to reduce the level.
- For Spark's Evo 2025 headers and titanium link pipes.
Shape Over Absorption
Every silencer trades case volume against noise, and this one takes the trade to its limit. Spark describes the Moto GP as round, very short, with a large outlet diameter chosen to emphasise the engine note.
On a four-cylinder that revs as high as Honda's does, that combination produces a sound with very little of the muffling most road exhausts impose. It is the closest a catalogue part comes to what a prototype racer actually sounds like at the trackside, and it is bought for that rather than for a lap time.
Know What You Are Choosing
On the previous generation of this system Spark measured its four silencers at 102, 105, 112 and 114 dB at 6,500 rpm, with the Moto GP at 112. Those are figures for the earlier range and we quote them as such — but the ordering within Spark's own catalogue is consistent, and the Moto GP has always sat near the top of it.
If your circuits measure, look at the Force Evo group GHO8835ST instead. A dB killer will bring this case down, but it starts a long way above where most limits are drawn.
What the Cover Group Adds
Spark supplies this as a group: the silencer together with the cover that sits over the connection to the link pipe. The two are fitted together, and in a crash they are damaged together.
For a rebuild that means one part number rather than two, with the mounting hardware included. It is also the difference between a finished-looking installation and a visible joint on a bike where the exhaust ends high and in plain sight.
Fitment & Compatibility
Honda CBR 1000 RR-R, 2024 through 2026, on Spark's Evo 2025 headers GHO8847, GHO8847R or GHO8850 with a titanium link pipe. The Force Evo group is GHO8835ST. The complete system with a pre-silencer and Force Evo is GHO8849T.
Road Approval
None. No EC certificate, no catalytic converter, and a noise level well above any road standard. Closed circuits without a decibel limit.
