Developed by OZ's SBK Racing division and machined from high-strength forged aluminium, the Piega R front wheel is the lightest wheel OZ offers for the Aprilia RSV4 family. Every gram saved from rotating mass translates directly into sharper turn-in, more responsive steering and quicker direction changes — qualities that define the difference between a fast lap and a personal best.

Track-Engineered Construction
The Piega R designation marks the top of the OZ road-wheel hierarchy. Where the standard Piega is already a significant upgrade over a cast OEM wheel, the Piega R goes further through an optimised forging process that strips additional material without compromising structural integrity. The result is a wheel that survives the kerb strikes, hard braking and sustained high-speed loads of circuit riding while remaining stiffer and lighter than anything the factory fitted.
The five-spoke layout is not simply a styling choice. Each spoke is profiled to carry load efficiently through its length, reducing flex under braking and acceleration so that tyre contact patch behaviour remains predictable at the limit. Combined with the anodised surface treatment — which bonds with the aluminium rather than sitting on top of it — the Piega R resists surface degradation even across a full season of track days.
Track-Only Use
The Piega R is designed and certified for track use only. It is not intended for road registration. Riders who want OZ forged aluminium for road use should consider the standard Piega range. On circuit, however, the Piega R has no equivalent in its class for the RSV4 platform.
