DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Panigale 959 with a race-layout left-hand block, cut from a single block of Ergal 7075.
Key Features
- Ducati Panigale 959 (2016–2019)
- Race layout with the button order changed for circuit use
- Black, red or titanium anodising
- CNC-machined from Ergal 7075
- Military-specification sealed elements
- Plug-and-play on the original connector
A Reordered Column
The functions are identical and the positions are not. On a circuit that difference is measured in attention rather than in lap time, which is ultimately the same thing.
No Looking Down
At the end of a straight the eyes have somewhere considerably more useful to be. A control found by geometry rather than by sight is the whole reason the race variant exists.
Traction, Session by Session
The level goes up as the tyre goes away and comes down again when a fresh one is fitted. All of that happens from this block, on the move.
Twenty Minutes After the Flag
When the hot jet arrives. That is what ends switchgear on a competition motorcycle, and sealed elements inside a milled body are the answer to it.
Undone Before a Sale
Nothing cut, so the road block returns quickly. A 959 that has been used at circuits presents considerably better with its standard controls back in place.
The Popular Club Racer
Nine hundred and fifty-five cubic centimetres, 157 horsepower and a monocoque chassis at a reachable price. It is one of the more common Ducatis to find on a national grid.
Euro 4 Made It Torquier
The capacity increase was forced by emissions rules and produced more pull everywhere. Regulation improving a motorcycle is rare enough to be worth noting.
The Corse Version
Ducati offered a 959 Corse with Öhlins and a specific livery for very little extra. It is the one worth looking for and the premium second-hand remains modest.
Three Anodised Options
Black, red and titanium, grown into the surface. A track bike gets marked and anodising dulls at the contact point rather than lifting away from it.
