Short Case, High Position

These two choices compound. A short silencer already draws attention to itself by ending sooner than the eye expects; putting it up beside the tail rather than under it removes the last thing that was hiding it.

The result is the most extrovert homologated configuration in Spark's range for this generation — and it is worth being clear that it is a styling decision. The weight, the catalyst and the approval are the same as the low-mounted Grid-O version. What changes is how much of the exhaust the motorcycle shows.

Titanium or Dark, Same Price

Spark builds the Moto GP case in titanium and in a dark finish and charges the same for both, so this is purely a decision about how you want the silencer to read.

Raw titanium takes on colour with use — the heat tint at the front of the case deepens over the first few thousand kilometres, and no two silencers end up quite alike. The dark version, GTR0506DOM, stays as delivered. One of those is a feature and the other is consistency; which is which depends on the owner.

How It Stays Legal

A very short case with a large outlet is not a quiet component. What keeps this kit approved is the pre-silencer box ahead of it: AISI 304 with a very thin wall, made on current-generation tooling, holding a catalytic converter with racing cell count and a rich noble-metal impregnation.

Spark's stated aim was to raise performance without any ECU modification while meeting the regulation, and the box is where both happen. The silencer is left to do what its shape was drawn for.

Fitment & Compatibility

Triumph Street Triple 765 R, RS and S, 2020 through 2022. The dark-style version of this kit is GTR0506DOM. The same high position with the Grid-O is GTR0505TOM, or GTR0505BOM with the black ceramic box. The standard low mounting with the Moto GP is GTR0504DOM. Mounts on the standard collector or Spark's GTR8502.
