Measure the old part against them before ordering. The separating piston or bladder inside keeps gas and oil apart; if it fails, the damping goes with it. Hose length is specific to the installation and cannot be substituted freely. Öhlins pressure-tests hoses because they carry the full gas charge.

Why the Original

The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Order under 00404-04. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Check dimension a 58 mm, dimension b 115 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Hose length is part of the installation and cannot be changed freely.
