Function
At 26.2 mm, 3.2 mm it fits one position only; the next size up carries a different number. Jets meter fixed bleed flow and are sized in tenths of a millimetre. The piston band seals the piston against the bore without metal contact. Valves and needles set the adjustable part of the damping; the piston sets the rest.
