Measure the old part against them before ordering. Ordering by number from the exploded view is the reliable way to get the right piece. Öhlins publishes an exploded view for each unit, and every position in it carries its own number. Replacement parts come from the same production as the components they go into.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 05070-01. Öhlins states dimension a 21 mm, dimension b 50 mm, dimension c 42 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. The number on the part matches the number in the drawing, which makes identification unambiguous. Availability of individual parts is one reason Öhlins units stay in service for decades.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05070-01

Category: Service Parts

Dimension A: 21 mm

Dimension B: 50 mm

Dimension C: 42 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05070-01_8b22d72a-7782-4994-9db3-4c6e4f643ae9.png?v=1788876299
