Housings carry bores for adjusters and seals; their concentricity decides whether the unit seals. Reservoir housings hold the gas charge and are pressure-rated accordingly. Brackets locate the unit against the chassis and take load in one direction only.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 01283-95. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. The published dimensions are dimension a 16 mm, dimension b 79 mm, dimension c 20 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Öhlins machines brackets from billet so the bores stay true under clamping. A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01283-95

Category: Brackets

Dimension A: 16 mm

Dimension B: 79 mm

Dimension C: 20 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01283-95_eab79974-97fa-4c15-bc1f-d806cc176b7e.png?v=1788873568
