DescriptionThe whole story▼
Five CFMOTO adventure models, from the 450MT to the 1000MT-X, and one set of pegs that fits all of them. That Akrapovic tools up for this range at all is worth noticing — a Slovenian company with a MotoGP history does not build parts for motorcycles it does not take seriously.
Key Features
- Fits the 450MT, 700MT, 800MT, 800MT-X and 1000MT-X
- Cast in one piece from Grade 5 titanium in Akrapovic's own foundry
- Octagonal profile with a Y-shaped reinforcement
- Central teeth and a wide surface for grip when standing
- A pair of rubber pads included, fitted without tools
- Developed and tested in real riding conditions
- The original mounting hardware must be reused
An Upgrade That Fits the Bike's Value
The CFMOTO MT range is bought on price. A 450MT costs a fraction of a comparable European adventure bike, which changes the calculation on accessories entirely: a titanium footpeg set is a larger proportion of the machine's value here than on any other bike in this catalogue.
What it buys is a part that will outlast the motorcycle. Grade 5 titanium does not corrode and does not bend, and a peg that survives being dropped on is worth having on a bike bought to be used rather than admired.
Five Models, Different Years
CFMOTO has expanded the MT line quickly. The 700MT arrived in 2023, the 450MT, 800MT and 800MT-X in 2024, and the 1000MT-X in 2026. All five take this set, but the years are not interchangeable — check your own machine against the list.
The 450MT in Particular
The 450MT is a genuine lightweight adventure bike with a 21 inch front wheel, and it is ridden standing more than its bigger siblings. A wide toothed platform matters more on that machine than on an 1000MT-X, which spends more of its life on tarmac.
The rubber pads cover the other case. They fit without tools, so one set of pegs serves both kinds of riding.
Fitting Notice
Akrapovic requires the original mounting hardware to be reused. Keep the pins and clips when the standard pegs come off.
The Aftermarket Follows the Sales
CFMOTO has gone from a name few European riders recognised to a brand whose adventure models sell in real numbers, and the accessory industry has followed. Akrapovic tooling up for five MT models is a straightforward commercial signal.
For an owner that is good news beyond this one part: a bike with aftermarket support keeps its value better and stays easier to run than one nobody makes anything for.
Check Before You Order
The MT range has grown quickly and the model names are close together — 800MT and 800MT-X are different motorcycles, and MT-X 1000 is different again. All are on the fitment list, but with different year ranges.
Send us the exact model designation from your registration document if you are unsure, and we will confirm before the order goes out.
Grade 5, Not Commercially Pure
Titanium comes in several grades, and the cheap ones are commercially pure — soft, easy to form and not much stronger than good steel. Grade 5 is an alloy with aluminium and vanadium, roughly twice as strong, and considerably harder to cast.
Akrapovic runs its own foundry, which is why it can use the difficult grade for a part like this.
