DescriptionThe whole story▼
A club race weekend on an RSV4 1100 Factory can turn on a very small part. A low-side in Saturday practice, the bike comes back on the recovery truck with scraped bodywork, and the clutch lever has snapped off halfway along. Qualifying is only a couple of hours away. Aprilia's Factory of 2019 and 2020, with the larger 1100 engine and winglets on the fairing, turns up on club grids, and its riders learn to carry spares. Accossato's AGS01 is one worth packing, a silver clutch lever that matches the original in shape.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato calls the AGS01 an original spare parts type. It is shaped after the clutch lever the RSV4 1100 Factory came with, so a rider who swaps it in the paddock gets back the lever position that starts and pit-lane routines have been practised with. The company built the range with value for money in mind, which is what makes it sensible to keep one or two in the spares box, and it credits the production method with making the lever more resilient after a crash or other damage. Colour: silver.
Between Practice and the Race
In the paddock, a crash check follows a fixed order: brakes, controls, footrests, bodywork. The clutch lever belongs to the second group. If it is bent or broken, swap it before anything cosmetic, then look at the perch and the switch it acts on, because a hard landing can damage those too. Clean the pivot bolt, grease it lightly and fit the replacement, then set the free play to the figure in the handbook. On the way out, test the clutch at low speed in the pit lane before you commit to a start. Scrutineers take a close look at bikes after a crash, and a straight lever that returns properly is what they want to see. If the clutch feels wrong, come back in: another race will follow.
Fitment and Compatibility
The listing covers the RSV4 1100 Factory with ABS of 2019 and 2020, exactly as on Accossato's application list. With us, the same AGS01 also has pages under the earlier RSV4 RR and the Tuono V4 1100 Factory. For a lever in a different shape, Accossato's CNC clutch lever ESV004 is listed under this model, and on the brake side the CNC brake lever EDF011; each has its own listing with its own years. As with any spare, compare it with the lever on your RSV4 1100 Factory before the weekend, not in the paddock.
Road Approval
No ABE or other approval paperwork is available to us for the AGS01, so it is sold for racing and competition.
