Sprint Filter publishes no retention percentage for the non-woven media as it does for the woven ones, so the evidence here is two ratings and no third. And nothing here is a power claim: a drop-in element leaves a standard 650 twin exactly as strong as it was.

Care and cleaning

Compressed air on the clean face of K196P14, worked outwards, is the routine. A non-woven holds part of its load inside its thickness, so it releases more slowly than a weave and wants patience rather than pressure. Greasy contamination comes off with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then a proper rinse.
