The prototype silhouette without the price of a full system. Spark's titanium D.60 manifold carrying the Moto GP silencer: short case, wide outlet, steeply cut, and openly above the noise limits — Spark lists it among the silencers that sit over the line rather than under it.
Key Features
- 3/4 kit for the Yamaha R1 and R1M: titanium D.60 2-into-1 manifold plus Moto GP silencer.
- Above the 102 dB limit of the French championship and the Endurance World Championship.
- Round, very short case with a large outlet diameter.
- Eliminates the catalytic converter while keeping the standard headers.
- Compatible with the passenger footrests.
- Titanium manifold, D.60 — the diameter Spark optimised for 2020-2023.
What Spark Says About This Case
Spark describes the MotoGP silencer as round, very short, with a large outlet diameter, and offers it to riders looking for an absolutely racing and extreme product without any dB limit. That is the manufacturer setting the terms of use itself, and it should be read as such.
The design logic is simple. A short case with a wide exit trades absorption for the sound and the appearance of a prototype exhaust. What comes out is not a side effect of the shape — it is the shape's purpose.
Where You Can Actually Use It
Noise limits now apply on Italian and European circuits during free practice days as well as races, and the permitted level varies by championship and by engine capacity. A silencer Spark itself places above the 102 dB line is one to check against a specific circuit before booking, not after.
Where that check comes back clean — a private test day, a series without a ceiling, a country that does not enforce one — this is the most visually and acoustically committed 3/4 kit Spark builds for the R1. Where it does not, GYA8882T with the Force silencer puts the same titanium manifold under a case that clears the limit.
Titanium at the 3/4 Length
The manifold under this kit is the titanium one, not the stainless. That is where the three hundred euros over the GYA8878T go, and on this bike the difference is real: Spark quotes 1.6 kg for the titanium D.60 manifold against 8.0 kg for the standard section it replaces.
Mass out of that region — low, central, under the engine — is felt in direction changes rather than on the scales. Combined with the shortest silencer Spark offers for the R1, it makes this the lightest 3/4 configuration in the range.
Installation
Only the section behind the collector is replaced; the four standard headers stay where they are. Spark lists this kit as compatible with the passenger footrests. Keep the standard mid-section — it is the only way back to a road-legal exhaust. The installation sheet is under Downloads on this page.
Fitment & Compatibility
Yamaha R1 and R1M, 2015 through 2025. The titanium manifold on its own is GYA8858. The same manifold with the Force is GYA8882T, with the Grid-O GYA8858T, with the Konix Evo GYA8883T and with the Force Evo GYA8859T.
Road Approval
None, on two counts: the catalytic converter is removed and the silencer is above the championship noise limits. Closed circuits without a decibel ceiling.
