When to replace it
Worn cheek pads let the helmet move sideways and lift at speed. If you can push the helmet round your face without the skin moving with it, or if the foam has broken down, replace them.
Sizing
The size is the pad thickness, not the helmet size. Start with the value printed on your current pads. A thicker pad gives a firmer hold; a thinner one gives more room. If you change thickness, try the helmet on for a while at home before riding.
Ordering by part number
Shark gives no helmet model for IN8250P, so the number on the old pads is your guide. Two other CHEEKS articles exist: IN4055P in black with 35 to 50 mm, and IN83036P, the Alveotech V2 pads in red from 25 to 50 mm. Their numbers differ, and so does the range of thicknesses.
Keeping it serviceable
Hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild soap, press out the water gently, never wring, and dry away from direct heat. Fit them only when fully dry.
