Measure the old part against them before ordering. Springs are a service part: they age, they settle, and replacing them restores the geometry. Progressive springs change rate through the stroke and suit short-travel machines. A spring that has settled in service sits shorter than new and quietly lowers the ride height.

Original Öhlins Part

Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue.

Identifying the Right Part

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 24635-05 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. The published dimensions are dimension a 1.5 mm, dimension b 69 mm, dimension c 89 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. A spring that has settled in service sits shorter than new and quietly lowers the ride height. Rate is chosen for rider weight and load, not for the machine alone.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 24635-05

Category: Springs

Dimension A: 1.5 mm

Dimension B: 69 mm

Dimension C: 89 mm

Thread: M52x1.5

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/24635-05_d4187c0f-e70e-415a-a6ce-92d966e029a6.png?v=1788878391
