LighTech's OBT008 carries the reservoir at 60.6 mm height and 90.3 mm out from the mount. LighTech makes the OBT008 in black only. It goes onto the HP4 without modification and comes off again just as easily.

Key Features

Sold separately from the reservoir, as LighTech supplies it

Made in Italy

60.6 mm in height, 90.3 mm of projection

The OBT008 is machined from solid, not cast or pressed

LighTech part number OBT008, listed for the BMW HP4

Decides where the reservoir ends up on the HP4

Where the Reservoir Ends Up

The bracket is the part that has to suit the HP4, not the tank. LighTech dimensions the OBT008 to 60.6 mm by 90.3 mm so the hose run stays short on the HP4. Black is the only finish LighTech makes it in.

Application

The listing is for the HP4 and the years 2013 to 2018. It is an adaptable bracket, not a BMW part — measure the space on the HP4 first.

Maintenance

Anodised aluminium takes brake cleaner badly; keep it off the OBT008. Otherwise it is a fit-and-forget item on the HP4.

Fitting

The OBT008 goes on with the HP4 on its stand. Check steering lock on the HP4 once the tank is in place. Instructions are in the box; the HP4 needs no modification.

Sold Separately

LighTech sells this mount on its own. The tank — OBT001, OBT006 or OBT007 — is a separate article. If you are starting from nothing on the HP4, you need both lines on the order.

What You Get

One bracket per package for the HP4. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order is unambiguous.

Brake System and Road Approval

Replacing a reservoir touches the brake system of the HP4, not just its appearance. We list the OBT008 without an approval claim because LighTech issues none. For a road-registered HP4 in Germany, have the installation assessed before you rely on it — and have the system bled and checked by a workshop afterwards.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT008

Type: Reservoir bracket, front

Height: 60.6 mm

Projection: 90.3 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: BMW HP4 (2013 to 2018)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT008NER_b40d9ee6-e7cd-43ac-b8df-64b43505deed.png?v=1791204702
