DescriptionThe whole story▼
The red Vizion 3.5 with a 90% clear lens is aimed at dim and changeable light: forest stages, rainy practice and the last session of the day. You get the maximum brightness Leatt offers in a Vizion lens.
Key Features
- Complies with PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425, CE EN 1938:2010
- Self-draining lower edge sheds dirt
- Packaging without plastic
- Anti-scratch and anti-fog lens coatings
- Frame with outriggers for broad helmet fit
- Wide 45 mm strap, 5 mm silicone grip
Frame, Strap and Fit
With its single-compound chassis and outrigger strap mounts, this goggle is designed to work across a broad mix of off-road helmets. Width matters on a goggle strap, and this one measures 45 mm, with a 5 mm silicone bead added for anti-slip hold. Along the bottom of the frame, a self-draining edge lets dirt find its way out instead of building up against the lens.
Lens: clear, 90% VLT
Clear lenses with 90% VLT are generally used in dim conditions, from cloudy race days to tight woods sections. Leatt hard-coats this lens against scratches and adds an anti-fog layer, so the view through the Red frame stays usable after roost and on cold starts. On the safety side, the Red goggle carries CE EN 1938:2010 certification and complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on PPE. A spare lens in another tint is an option, with Vizion lenses offered separately from 22% up to 90% VLT.
Padding and OTG
Comfort comes from a dual-density foam built up in three layers, finished with an anti-sweat fleece where it touches the skin. Space for spectacles is built in: the goggle carries Leatt's OTG (over-the-glasses) fit.
Staying Clear Mid-Race
Pins for tear-offs are part of the frame, so quick clean-ups on track are possible once you add films. For deep mud the frame is also ready for Leatt's Vizion 45 mm Roll-Off system, an optional upgrade.
What you should know
If your riding is mostly in open, sunny terrain, a 90% clear lens is not the ideal choice on its own. The goggle has posts but no films, and Roll-Off use needs the separately available 45 mm system.
Colour
A classic racing red, easy to combine with red bikes and kit or as a single accent on a black helmet. It stays visible on track and looks sharp when clean, though dust will show sooner than on black.
