DescriptionThe whole story▼
The right-hand switch block for a Panigale V2 with a Solo Engineering dashboard, on a universal clamp pattern.
Key Features
- Ducati Panigale V2 955 (2020–2024)
- Wired for the Solo Engineering dashboard
- Right-hand switch block
- Universal hole pattern for either master cylinder
- CNC-machined from solid
- Black anodised Ergal 7075
- Military-specification sealed elements
One Clamp, Both Cylinders
The universal slots accept the original master cylinder and the radial replacements. On a competition build the brake end has invariably been changed already.
Wired for Solo Engineering
The inputs are read by that system rather than by the motorcycle. Function assignment happens in software and can be changed between circuits without touching a connector.
Reachable Under Braking
The right hand holds a lever and rolls a throttle at once. A layout that lets whatever remains be reached without loosening either is the whole reason for a dedicated block.
An Installation, Not an Upgrade
A racing loom and the dashboard come first. Without them this component has nowhere at all to send a signal, whatever else has been done to the bike.
Sealed Elements
Military-specification contacts within the machined body. A hot jet after every session is what actually destroys switchgear on a competition motorcycle.
Black Anodised
Grown into the surface. Race components are handled roughly and cleaned hard and an anodised finish takes both without complaint.
Small Suppliers, Serious Equipment
Solo Engineering builds for teams rather than showrooms. Its hardware exists because engineers asked for something manufacturers were never going to provide.
A Grid Full of Them
The Panigale V2 appears throughout national supersport because the arithmetic works. Consumables on a middleweight cost meaningfully less than on a litre bike.
Machined From Solid
The block fits identically after twenty removals across a season. That is a property of how it is made rather than of what is written on the box.
Developed for Roads, Raced Anyway
Ducati built the V2 around usability rather than around a rulebook, and teams discovered that a flat torque curve and a forgiving chassis are exactly what a privateer needs. It was never intended as a race platform and it has become one of the more successful ones.
