Two Drillings and a Universal Plate

JetPrime offers three ways to mount this switch. The universal version accepts either geometry at the cost of a little extra width; the two dedicated drillings are tighter. This is the offset one, for cylinders whose bolts are staggered.

Rally Pro Owners Change Brakes

The off-road versions of the Tiger 900 are used hard enough that the front brake gets attention, either for lever feel or for reach. Aftermarket radial cylinders frequently arrive with a stepped clamp, and that is where this drilling earns its place.

An Engine Unlike the 800's

The T-plane crankshaft fires at uneven intervals, which gives the 900 a low-speed pulse that helps enormously on a loose surface. It also means the engine sounds and feels nothing like the smooth triple it replaced, which divided existing owners at the time.

Controls at the End of a Long Day

Adventure tourers put more operations through their switchgear than any sports bike does. Nothing fails; the buttons simply lose definition, and on a bike used for hundreds of kilometres at a stretch that gradual softening is what eventually prompts a replacement.

One Piece Under Vibration

The uneven firing order sends a distinctive pulse into everything bolted to the handlebar. A machined body clamped with a proper fastener stays tight where a two-piece moulding held by clips gradually works loose.

Black, Titanium or Copper

All three anodised through the surface. A knock dulls the finish rather than exposing bright aluminium, which on a bike that will eventually be dropped is the more useful property.
