DescriptionThe whole story▼

The CBR 1000 RR-R received its thorough update for 2024, with a revised engine and changed electronics, but the question of where the rider's feet belong stayed the same. This MUE2 rearset for the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R from 2020 on gives a clear answer: wherever your riding needs them, within a range of up to 33 mm upwards and 30 mm rearwards.

Key Features

  • Standard or reversed (race) shift pattern
  • Every part available individually as a spare
  • Peg height and reach set at a single clamping point
  • Brake and shift levers on double ball bearings, free of play
  • Folding footpegs, as the road approval requires
  • Road legal in Germany under ABE No. KBA 91506

A position for your own body

Factory pegs are set for an average rider. The MUE2 lets you place them to fit your leg length and your boot size, with the pedal length adjustable as well. A rider who fits the bike properly moves more freely on it, and that shows in the smoothness of every direction change.

One system for every RR-R

The system is identical across the RR-R models, with double ball bearings in both levers and a choice of normal or reversed shifting. It is road legal under ABE, which means the standard RR-R can be upgraded without any inspection.

Road Approval

This system is road legal on the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R under ABE No. KBA 91506. The document waives the acceptance inspection provided its conditions are met: fitting as per the instructions, folding adapters for the pegs and a headlight check once everything is tight. Print the ABE from this page for the vehicle papers.

Scope of Delivery

Both sides of the rider rearset are supplied ready to fit: adapter plates, peg carriers with folding footpegs, brake pedal and shift lever with linkage, and heel guards on both sides. The fitting instructions are included, together with the ABE certificate.
