DescriptionThe whole story

Fully loaded, the F900XR carries more weight than most riders realise. For the BMW F900XR of 2020 to 2025 that shape is the B007, a 85.0 by 51.0 mm face on a laser-cut backing plate. EXR reached the market in September 2026 and takes over from EXC Endurance in the B007 too.

Key Features

  • Suits the F900XR on the road as readily as on a circuit, which is what separates the ceramic platform from a pure race sinter
  • Country of origin Japan; ZCOO does not source its friction material outside its own plant
  • Ceramic sintering keeps the coefficient of friction stable across the temperature swing a F900XR sees in a single descent
  • Two pads per pack, matched as a set for one Brembo caliper
  • Sized for the braking energy a 895 cc machine generates, not scaled down from a larger reference
  • Front axle only: ZCOO lists no rear pad under the B007 reference

Construction and Material Quality

What sits behind the friction material on a B007 matters as much as the mixture itself. Sintering fuses the ceramic to the plate, which is what lets the B007 hold together where an organic pad has begun to break down. Both details exist so the B007 keeps its pressure distribution honest as it wears down.

Performance and Feel

Choosing between EX Race and EXR on an F900XR comes down to what you want back. That is the part of the zone where the pad has already absorbed most of its heat and the rider is still adjusting. With a passenger aboard the BMW F900XR, predictable is worth more than powerful.

Fitment and Compatibility

ZCOO's 2026 catalogue lists this reference for the BMW F900XR across 6 model years (2020 to 2025). Before ordering, check that your caliper takes a pad of 85.0 mm length and 51.0 mm height. The same B007 shape covers 111 further machines in the 2026 catalogue. The reference is a front pad; ZCOO lists no rear equivalent.

Road Approval

No ECE R90 type approval is documented for this pad. It appears neither in ZCOO's own catalogue nor on the European distributor's site, and no approval number is printed on the packaging data available to us. ZCOO itself describes the compound as suited to competition machines and road machines alike, but that is a description of the mixture, not a type approval. Until the distributor confirms an approval in writing, treat this as a track and competition part: in Germany a replacement brake pad without ECE R90 approval may not be fitted to a motorcycle used on public roads. Ask us before ordering if you need this clarified for your machine.
