Both silencers moved under the seat, and the catalytic converter left exactly where Triumph put it. Spark's racing underseat kit changes the entire back half of the Speed Triple's silhouette without touching the emissions hardware or the ECU.
Key Features
- Racing underseat twin kit for the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS and RR, 2021 to 2024 only.
- Two Dyno silencers with red anodised, CNC-milled end caps.
- 4.1 kg against 7.7 kg standard — 3.6 kg saved.
- The original catalytic converter remains fitted.
- No ECU remapping required.
- Must be used with the dB killer installed.
A Race Kit That Keeps the Catalyst
Most racing exhausts start by deleting the catalytic converter, and everything that follows — the lean running, the mandatory remap, the error lights — follows from that decision. Spark took a different route here.
The converter stays on the motorcycle. What the kit replaces is the section behind it, which is where the standard system's weight and bulk actually are. The consequence is a race-configured motorcycle that needs no dyno time, throws no error codes and can be returned to standard in an afternoon.
Why the dB Killer Is Not Optional
Spark prints the instruction in capitals: use the exhaust with the dB killer installed. That is unusual wording for a racing product and it should be read as written.
Two short silencers exiting under the seat, on a 1,200 cc triple, produce a great deal of noise without an insert. Spark is not making a suggestion about circuit limits here — it is stating how this kit is intended to be operated. Take the insert out and you are outside what the manufacturer designed for.
Model Year Matters
Spark states this kit is compatible only with MY21-24. The 2025 Speed Triple got a revised tail and a different exhaust arrangement, and the equivalent kits for it are GTR0109TC and GTR0109TR.
Check the model year before ordering rather than the model name — RS and RR are both covered, but only for the earlier bikes. The two generations look similar and take entirely different parts.
The End Caps, Again
The Dyno silencers here carry the same end cap Spark uses across this range: 6000-series aluminium, milled on a five-axis CNC, perforated to save weight and cut with different radii inside and out so it catches light from more than one angle.
Under the seat those caps sit high and point rearwards, which is the most visible position any exhaust outlet gets on a naked bike. Red is the loudest of the finishes Spark offers, and here it has the best stage in the range.
Fitment & Compatibility
Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS and RR, 2021 through 2024 only. The same kit with carbon end caps is GTR0106TC. For MY2025 onwards the equivalents are GTR0109TR and GTR0109TC. The homologated slip-ons for this generation are GTR0105TOM and the GTR0104 twin range.
Road Approval
None. The kit carries no EC certificate, even though the catalytic converter remains in place. Closed circuits only.
