Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks. Öhlins machines its housings from solid rather than casting them, which keeps the bores true. Brackets locate the damper or reservoir against the chassis and take the load in one direction only.

Original Öhlins Part

An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 05688-13 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. The published dimensions are dimension a 15.5 mm, dimension b 10 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Reservoir housings hold the gas charge and are pressure-rated accordingly. Öhlins machines its housings from solid rather than casting them, which keeps the bores true.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05688-13

Category: Top Mounts

Dimension A: 15.5 mm

Dimension B: 10 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05688-13_88da6672-1677-4dda-bd96-af98ce07d753.png?v=1788877035
