The Lavatex AP Line range takes that same pedigree and makes it accessible to track-day riders and club racers on the Ducati Panigale V4 platform. Lavatex is a fibre-reinforced composite with a surface character distinctly different from standard fibreglass — it holds shape under heat and vibration where lesser materials fatigue and distort.
The natural, unpainted finish is a deliberate design decision rather than a cost-cutting measure. It means each set leaves the factory at its minimum possible weight and arrives ready to become exactly what the owner intends: a full team livery, a satin wrap, or the raw industrial aesthetic that has become a statement in itself on superbike grids. The panel geometry is taken directly from SBK competition moulds, so the proportions — the sweeping front fairing, the aggressive side panels, the low-profile windscreen — are those you see in the Superbike World Championship paddock.

Track Use and Performance
This kit carries a Race Use Only classification, reflecting both its design intent and the regulatory context in which it was developed. On a circuit, reduced unsprung and bodywork mass improves turn-in response and reduces the inertia the chassis must manage under hard braking. The Lavatex construction maintains dimensional stability when the fairing is exposed to high-speed airflow and the heat generated by the Panigale V4's Desmosedici Stradale engine, conditions under which cheaper composite panels can flex and distort.
The optional carbon winglets (DU-V422-T2C-16) are engineered to mount directly to this fairing system, adding aerodynamic front-end load at high speed without requiring any bridging hardware or custom brackets.
