Braking is where lap time is made and confidence is built, and it deserves the same attention as engine or suspension tuning. Pads are defined by their compound: street-oriented sintered pads offer strong cold bite and long life, while dedicated race compounds need temperature to work but reward you with a firmer, more consistent lever under repeated hard stops.
