The supercharged H2 is unlike anything else Kawasaki sells. The JP PD KA034 replaces its right-hand switch with a body milled from Ergal 7075.

A Supercharger Built In-House
Kawasaki designed the H2's impeller with its gas turbine and aerospace divisions, which is not a sentence that applies to any other production motorcycle. It spins to 130.000 rpm, needs no intercooler and produces the whistle that has become the bike's signature. Nothing else on sale sounds remotely like it.
Trellis Frame, Mirror Paint
The H2 was built as a statement rather than as a rival to anything. The steel trellis frame, the self-healing paint and the single-sided swingarm all belong to a motorcycle designed to be looked at as much as ridden, which is why owners tend to be particular about cockpit components.
Nine Model Years
The fitment runs from the 2015 launch to 2024, which is nearly the whole production life of the road-going H2. Kawasaki revised the electronics and the aerodynamics across that period without altering the handlebar interface.
A Bike That Warrants the Part
On a motorcycle costing what an H2 costs, the moulded switch housing is the component most obviously carried over from ordinary production. Replacing it with milled aluminium is one of the few changes that makes the cockpit match the rest of the machine rather than merely differing from standard.
Either Clamp Geometry
The universal plate takes both aligned and offset master cylinder bolts, which keeps a later brake change straightforward on a bike whose owners rarely leave anything standard for long.
Self-Healing Paint, Standard Switch
Kawasaki went to the trouble of developing a paint that recovers from light scratches and then fitted the same handlebar assembly as the rest of the range. It is the clearest example in the catalogue of a component that is adequate on an ordinary motorcycle and conspicuous on an extraordinary one.
