A Dense Cluster
Indicators, horn, high beam and a five-way control for a colour display carrying riding modes, traction settings and connectivity. Triumph fitted a great deal of function into one housing without enlarging it, which leaves the buttons closer together than is ideal in winter gloves.
Modes That Actually Differ
Rain, Road, Sport, Track and a configurable Rider setting, and unlike some systems they are meaningfully distinct. That means riders use them, which means the controls behind them accumulate operations rather than sitting untouched for years.
Nine Model Years
The fitment runs from the 765's introduction to the current bike. Triumph revised the engine for Euro 5, changed the brakes and updated the electronics across that period without altering the handlebar interface.
Nothing Between the Bar and the Weather
No screen and no fairing means rain reaches the switchgear at road speed. Sealed elements inside a body with no moulded joint are what determine whether the indicator still clicks properly after five winters of ordinary use.
Copper as a Real Option
Black, titanium and copper. The last is unusual and works better on Triumphs than elsewhere, because the brand's own paint schemes already carry warm metallic accents that a bright silver part would fight.
A Cockpit in Full View
On a naked motorcycle the handlebar area is the largest single element the rider looks at. Replacing a two-piece moulding with a machined body changes that impression well out of proportion to the size of the part.
Reversible Before a Sale
The standard assembly unbolts and refits at any point. Street Triples change hands frequently and buyers ask about modifications, so keeping the original cluster in a box is worth the shelf space it takes.
