The JP ES 002 deletes the evaporative system on the Panigale V4 S, including the electrical half, so nothing is left hanging and nothing is left flagged on the panel.

Ohlins Smart EC 2.0
Semi-active suspension configured by describing what the motorcycle should do rather than by counting clicks. On a superbike it is the single most useful electronic system fitted.
Activated Carbon in a Vessel
It absorbs petrol vapour rising from a warm tank and holds it until the engine can draw it through the intake. That is the entire mechanism.
Type Approval
Evaporative control belongs to the approval in the markets that mandate it, and removing it there moves the motorcycle into competition use.
A Fuel Smell
Frequently a split vapour line rather than anything in the fuel delivery system, and almost always investigated in entirely the wrong order.
Two Different Motorcycles
A track bike loses nothing here and a registered road bike in a mandated market loses its compliance. The same model can be either.
Where It Sits on a Panigale
Under the tail behind the shock on the superbikes, which is exactly where a race exhaust hanger and a lap timer transmitter both want to be.
Nothing Is Cut
No hose is shortened, no connector severed and no bracket modified. That property is what makes the change reversible and it is worth insisting on.
Nothing Changes About Running
The system handles vapour from a standing tank and meters it in at light load. It has no influence on power, throttle response or fuel consumption, and anybody expecting the motorcycle to feel different afterwards has misunderstood what was removed.
Doing It With the Tank Off
The tank has to come off anyway to reach the upper hoses, and with it out of the way the whole system is visible at once. Photographing the routing before anything is disconnected takes a minute and saves an argument with yourself later about which line went where.
