Akrapovic part P-RPCK246 renews the sound-absorbing filling of the silencer. Akrapovic prints the number in the parts diagrams of 3 systems for the Yamaha Tricity 300 and XMAX 300.
Packing is a wear part. Heat and the pressure pulses of the exhaust gas break the fibre down over time; the exhaust gets louder, and the note turns coarse and hollow. Repacking brings the silencer back to the level it left the factory with and is the normal service interval for a race exhaust.
