DescriptionThe whole story▼
When autumn arrives, enduro trails turn into streams of mud and leaves, and the rear brake of a Suzuki RMX 450 Z is soaked from the first minute. For the RMX 450 Z from 2010 to 2018 Accossato offers the AGPP106 rear pad in its Sintered compound, SKU AGPP106ST. It is designed for riders who keep riding through the wet months and want a rear brake that responds reliably on a wet disc and behaves the same way on a cold morning and in the heat of a long loop.
Key Features
- AGPP106 rear pad for the Suzuki RMX 450 Z, 2010 to 2018
- Sintered compound, SKU AGPP106ST
- Accossato: steady grip across temperatures
- Good response on a wet disc
- For autumn and winter riding
- Consistent feel over a long day
- OR and STMX are also available
- No ABE on file; for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Two promises define this mixture in Accossato's catalogue: friction that barely shifts between a chilly start and a hot brake, and a dependable bite when water covers the disc. Behind the swingarm of an enduro machine that is out in November drizzle, those two traits are what make the pedal trustworthy. Slow wear and sensible heat handling complete the brief.
Autumn on the Trails
Wet leaves, muddy ruts and cold streams make autumn riding slippery. On a steep, wet descent, the rear brake of the RMX 450 Z is often the main tool for controlling speed. A pad that grips well on a wet disc gives a more predictable response and reduces sudden locking.
Riders who enter winter enduros or ride every weekend regardless of the weather will appreciate a rear pad that does not change character with the season.
Winter Care
Clean and dry the rear caliper after wet rides, check the pads regularly and replace the fluid more often in winter. When fitting new pads, clean the piston before pushing it back and pump the pedal until it is firm. Mud in winter is abrasive, so check the pad thickness at every service.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's catalogue assigns AGPP106 to the rear of the RMX 450 Z, 2010 to 2018. The front of the RMX 450 Z uses AGPA51. One box contains the pads for the rear caliper.
Road Approval
We do not have an ABE or German test document for AGPP106ST; it is sold for off-road competition.
