DescriptionThe whole story▼
Enduro rarely waits for good weather. Training loops through a wet forest, winter club rides and early spring events all put water, cold and mud on the front disc of a Sherco SE 125. Accossato lists front pad AGPA29 for the SE 125 from 2017 to 2019, catalogued as the SE 125 R, and in the Sintered mixture it is intended to bite evenly whether the disc is soaked or dry, freezing or warm.
Key Features
- Front pad AGPA29 for Sherco SE 125, 2017 to 2019
- Sintered mixture, article number AGPA29ST
- Accossato: high, constant grip at high and low temperatures
- Good bite on a wet disc
- Even lever feel through a cold training day
- Suited to year-round riding
- OR, STMX and EV1 also available on this plate
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato states that the Sintered compound holds a high, steady grip across the whole temperature range and continues to work well in the wet. For a light enduro bike ridden through the winter, that consistency is what matters: the rider should not have to guess how the brake will respond after a stream crossing. Accossato also points to low wear, limited heat build-up and strong stopping.
Winter Training in the Woods
Cold mornings and wet roots make enduro training harder than any summer ride. After every puddle the front disc is wet again, and a compound that needs to dry out before it bites leaves the rider waiting. A sintered pad responds quickly in those conditions.
Winter also brings temperature swings: the disc starts ice-cold in the van and warms up on the first steep descent. A pad that keeps a similar feel throughout helps the rider judge each braking point the same way, lap after lap of a training loop.
After a wet day, rinse the caliper, let everything dry and check the pads before the next ride. Water and grit together wear any pad faster than dry trails.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA29 for the front brake of the Sherco SE 125 from 2017 to 2019, under the catalogue name SE 125 R. At the rear the bike uses AGPP80. Replace both pads together, clean the piston, check that the fluid is not dark or cloudy, and bed the new pads in on a dry track section.
Road Approval
There are no ABE or German test papers for this pad on our side. We supply it for competition and off-road sport.
Scope of Delivery
