DescriptionThe whole story▼
Engineered specifically for the 2025-2026 Ducati Panigale V4, V4 S and V4 R, the Tensor Race air filter represents the latest evolution in race-specification air filtration technology. Built around TGP MotoRacing's proprietary Pronoy hexagon-weave fabric at 70 microns, it delivers near-zero airflow resistance and measurable power gains — making it the rational choice for any serious track programme.
Key Features
- Pronoy hexagon-structure fabric at 70 microns reduces intake resistance to near zero, feeding the airbox with an unrestricted, laminar airflow
- Maximised ram-air efficiency — no restriction from air stacking, delivering a direct, uninterrupted charge to the throttle bodies
- Improved throttle response with sharper pickup and more aggressive drive out of slow corners
- Higher exit velocity through the filter medium for consistent, even power delivery across the rev range
- Potential gain of up to +10 bhp depending on ECU mapping and overall configuration
- Optional SDX pre-filter available for dusty environments and mixed road/track use
Race-Bred Construction
The Tensor Race filter is not a road filter adapted for track use — it was conceived from the outset as a racing component. The Pronoy hexagon-structure weave is selected for its unique combination of structural rigidity and maximum open area, allowing airflow to pass through with virtually no measurable drag while maintaining the filtration integrity demanded by a high-revving, fuel-injected V4 engine. The result is a more complete cylinder fill at every point in the rev range, translating directly into stronger mid-range torque and a sharper top-end pull.
Ram-Air Performance
The Panigale V4 platform relies heavily on its ram-air system at circuit speeds to build static pressure in the airbox above atmospheric. Any restriction at the filter medium diminishes that pressure advantage. The Tensor Race filter is designed to present the absolute minimum resistance at that critical point, ensuring the ram-air effect operates at its theoretical maximum rather than being throttled by a saturated or over-dense filter element.
Fitment and Compatibility
This filter is a direct, model-specific fitment. No modification to the airbox or airbox lid is required.
