On a motorcycle the tank cap sits in plain view and does nothing for the bike. That is what the TF26 is: a cap that threads shut, milled from aluminium, black outside and coloured inside. Made in Italy, like the rest of the range. The body is aluminium, machined on CNC machinery.

What Is Included
The scope of the TF26, stated plainly. No part of the description is optional equipment. This cap sits on the fuel system: use the gaskets that come with it, make sure it closes completely, and check for leaks before you ride. One question before ordering is cheaper than one return afterwards.
At Every Fill-Up
Most of what makes a bike look finished is small and central. LighTech builds the TF26 as a single part with no lock cylinder inside it. Everything else about it is colour.
Application
The TF26 comes without a vehicle assignment from the manufacturer. Check the opening and the screw circle before ordering. If the tank or the cap has been changed, tell us what is on the bike now.
Mounting It
Do the last tightening with the cap closed, not open. Nothing about this benefits from being done quickly. Call us if you would rather watch it done once.
What You Get
Delivered is the screw-on cap TF26. The outside is anodised black; the inner part is available in Gold. Tools are not part of the delivery.
Paperwork
On documentation, to be clear. Nothing in the TF26 package addresses German type approval. A tank cap has to seal and to vent, and on a road-registered motorcycle that is what an inspector will look at. Ask your inspection body if you want it in writing.
