DescriptionThe whole story▼
Not every Kawasaki KLX 450R spends its life racing. Many are used for relaxed practice at enduro parks, for coaching days and for riders finding their feet in the dirt. For that gentler role, Accossato offers the AGPA51 front pad in an Organic mixture, fitting the KLX 450R from 2007 to 2024. It suits riders who want a soft, easy-to-control front brake and would like the disc to last as long as possible.

- Good for practice days and coaching
- Rear pad for this bike: AGPP106

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes its Organic mixture as long-lasting and gentle on the disc. On a KLX 450R used for practice rather than competition, those two traits reduce running costs over a season. The company also claims that its pads keep heat under control so that fading is limited, and that they still stop decisively. The compound is bonded to the AGPA51 plate, which carries the familiar shape for this front caliper.
Coaching Days in the Dirt
Off-road coaches often tell newcomers to treat the front brake with respect: on loose ground, a sudden grab can tuck the front wheel. A pad with a soft first bite and a proportional build-up of force makes it easier to learn how much front brake the surface will take. On a powerful enduro bike like the KLX 450R, that forgiving feel helps a rider gain confidence step by step.
Practice days usually mean many short sessions on the same loop, with frequent stops to talk through technique. The front brake is used moderately, and an organic pad suits that pace well.
After a day at the enduro park, wash the bike, let the calipers dry and look at the pads. Dust and dried mud around the piston should be cleaned away before the next outing, and the fluid should be replaced when it darkens.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA51 for the front brake of the Kawasaki KLX 450R from 2007 to 2024. The rear pad is AGPP106, and Accossato also catalogues the DK060 disc for this bike. The box holds one set for one caliper; compare the old and new pads before fitting.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or German test mark for AGPA51OR. The pads are sold for competition use.
