DescriptionThe whole story▼

The four-stroke engine of the KTM 250 SX-F makes it a popular base for small-bore supermoto and tarmac training. Riders who take it onto asphalt can fit Accossato's AGPA29 front pad in the EV1 street/track compound, listed for the 250 SX-F from 2005 to 2026. It targets the rider who is heading to a kart track or a supermoto club day, who wants a firmer front stop on grippy surfaces and who is ready to explore a harder style of braking.

Key Features

  • AGPA29 front pads for the KTM 250 SX-F, model years 2005 to 2026
  • EV1 compound, SKU AGPA29EV1
  • Accossato describes excellent grip for street riding and amateur track use
  • Suited to kart circuits, supermoto training and hobby racing
  • Direct, progressive bite once warmed up
  • Same backing available as OR, ST and STMX
  • No German ABE; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

According to Accossato, EV1 offers excellent grip for road use and amateur track sessions. On asphalt, a 250 SX-F can decelerate far harder than on loose soil, and the pad needs the bite to go with it. The lining is fixed to the regular AGPA29 plate, so switching between an off-road set and this one is simple.

Supermoto Club Days

A supermoto club day mixes tight tarmac hairpins with the odd dirt section, and braking on the asphalt is intense and repeated. Riders learn to squeeze the front hard while the bike is still upright, then release smoothly as they tip in. A compound that builds grip in line with lever pressure lets you practise that technique and find where the front tyre starts to complain. Hobby racers moving up from trail riding find EV1 a clear step towards a proper track feel.

Before heading out, bed the pads in with gradual stops and check the brake fluid condition. Wipe the disc clean after fitting so no grease or finger marks remain on the braking surface.

Fitment and Compatibility

We list the AGPA29 for the front of the KTM 250 SX-F, 2005 to 2026; Accossato's list for the SX-F 250 is broader, so compare before ordering for another year. If the bike has been converted with a larger supermoto disc and different caliper, a different pad may be required. The rear pad for this model is AGPP80, and discs DK017, DK018 and DK259 are listed. The stock bike has one front caliper.

Road Approval

For AGPA29EV1 there is no German ABE or test mark in our possession, so the pads are intended for closed circuits.

Scope of Delivery

Two EV1 pads, type AGPA29, a full set for one caliper.
