DescriptionThe whole story▼

Owners of a Kawasaki ZX1000 Ninja H2 who want to explore its performance safely often take it to a circuit, where the long straights and wide run-offs allow what public roads do not. Accossato's AGPA106 front pad in the EV1 street/track mixture suits that approach. It covers the H2, H2 Carbon and H2 R from 2015, as well as the SX SE and SE+ from 2018, and it works on fast roads and at amateur track days.

Key Features

  • EV1 street/track mixture, SKU AGPA106EV1
  • Accossato promises excellent grip on the road and in amateur track use
  • Sharper bite for heavy braking from high speed
  • Suits track days on a hyperbike

  • No ABE on file; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato presents EV1 as a compound with excellent grip for street riding and amateur track use. On an H2, braking from very high speed at the end of a long straight is a real test for the front brake. EV1 is designed to give strong bite in that situation while remaining practical for the ride home. Accossato's pads are also described as slow-wearing, heat-controlled against fade and powerful.

An H2 at the Circuit

A track day on an H2 is a special experience. The bike accelerates so hard that braking points arrive much sooner than on other machines, and the front brake has to shed a lot of speed in a short time. Riders should start with conservative braking markers and move them gradually. The EV1 pad provides the clear feedback needed for that process.

Between sessions, let the brakes cool with the bike standing still and the lever released. Check the fluid level and look at the pads before going out again.

Tyres and Brakes

Heavy braking from high speed also stresses the front tyre. Check tyre pressures and condition before every track day, and follow the organiser's advice on pressures.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato catalogues AGPA106 for the front of the ZX1000 Ninja H2 of 2015 to 2021, the H2 Carbon of 2017 to 2020, the H2 R of 2015 to 2026 and the H2 SX SE and SE+ of 2018 on. The base SX takes AGPA109. The rear pads for the family are AGPA42 and AGPA76. Order two boxes for the twin front calipers.

Road Approval

AGPA106EV1 has no ABE or German approval mark in our possession. We offer it for circuit use.
