DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Puig Roadster windscreen strikes the right balance between practical wind protection and the raw, stripped-back character that defines the Triumph Speedmaster. Compact enough to preserve the cruiser's rebellious silhouette, it adds genuine everyday usability without softening the bike's personality.
Key Features
- Semi-fairing design measures 290 mm tall by 260 mm wide — enough protection for daily commuting without overwhelming the Speedmaster's classic proportions
- Formed from high-impact-resistant acrylic (methacrylate) with UV stabilisation to resist fading and crazing over years of outdoor use
- Two attachment methods included — mount via the fork tubes or through the headlight screws, giving a secure, rattle-free fit on the Speedmaster
- Chrome steel fasteners complement the Speedmaster's period-correct styling
- Rounded profile edges reduce the risk of sharp contact points, meeting both aesthetic and safety expectations
- Holds ABE homologation (KBA 38188 CS2a) and DOT 1312 approval, so it is road-legal straight from the box
Built for the Road, Styled for the Ride
Puig constructs the Roadster screen from acrylic selected for its balance of optical clarity and resistance to road debris impacts. At 944 g it adds minimal unsprung weight, and the rounded perimeter finish means there are no raw edges to catch gloves or hands during adjustments. The chrome hardware ties directly into the Speedmaster's classic cruiser aesthetic, so the screen looks as though it left the factory with the bike.
Dual Mounting System
The kit ships with two distinct bracket types — one that clamps around the fork tubes and one that uses the headlight mounting screws as anchor points. Both options provide equally rigid attachment; you simply choose whichever suits your particular setup. The two-point mounting geometry distributes wind load evenly, preventing flex at speed and keeping the screen stable on motorway runs.
