Measure the old part against them before ordering. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect. The reservoir hose carries the full gas charge and is pressure-tested accordingly. Hose length is part of the installation and cannot be substituted freely.

Genuine Service Part

Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 05865-09 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. The published dimensions are dimension a 3 mm, dimension b 8 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. A soft reservoir usually means the bladder has failed rather than the gas has leaked. Öhlins pressure-tests hoses because they carry the full gas charge.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05865-09

Category: Hoses

Dimension A: 3 mm

Dimension B: 8 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05865-09_f8d7db34-7385-4cc2-a662-c1e21b70466d.png?v=1788877115
