Measure the old part against them before ordering. Top caps carry the adjusters and the preload mechanism. A fork tube that has been bent is scrap: straightening changes the wall and it bends again. Fork parts are specific to the fork, not to the motorcycle it happens to be fitted to.

Why the Original

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.

Identifying the Right Part

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 15082-01. Öhlins states dimension a 2 mm, dimension b 50 mm, dimension c 198 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Outer tubes are specific to the fork model and its travel. Öhlins publishes tube diameters by fork model, and they are not interchangeable across the range.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 15082-01

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 2 mm

Dimension B: 50 mm

Dimension C: 198 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/15082-01_2873c021-e58e-49ee-b7d9-ab0b14ce6c63.png?v=1788878494
