A worn guide shows up as a knock over sharp edges. Inner and outer diameter both matter; a bushing that is a little loose does more damage than none at all. Guides and sleeves set the internal alignment of a cartridge.

Why the Original

Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 21757-06 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. The published dimensions are inner diameter 22.3 mm, outer diameter 26 mm, length 140 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. A worn bushing lets the shaft move off centre, and the seal is the next thing to fail. Both diameters and the length are specification rather than approximation.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21757-06

Category: Guides

Inner Diameter: 22.3 mm

Outer Diameter: 26 mm

Length: 140 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21757-06_59d2ea1d-0c72-44c2-83ed-9f7fcc666b24.png?v=1788880199
